Spa Etiquette

When arriving for a facial or spa body service please arrive a few minutes early to fill out appropriate paper work.  You will enter a room with candlelight and relaxing music.  When having a facial you will be given a spa gown.   A massage or body treatment involves some nudity -- but modesty is always respected.  You will undress and climb onto the spa table, in between the sheets while the therapist is out of the room. She or he will  knock before they enter so you won't be caught in an embarrassing position. 
During the massage, the therapist uses a technique called "draping." Only the part of the body being massaged -- your back, or one arm, or one leg -- is exposed. Your privates are never exposed. Women's breasts are not massaged. You can wear your underwear if you want to.  Your comfort level is the most important factor.  Body Treatments sometimes require a little more exposure. You might be offered disposable panties for the body treatment, which you can wear or not, depending on what you prefer. It is customary to provide your therapist or aesthetician a 15-20% gratuity if you were happy with the services provided.

All massages are given by a Certified Massage Therapist. This experience will leave you feeling in a total state of euphoria.


Appointment and Cancellation Policy
To ensure your preferred times, we recommend you make reservations several days in advance. If you cancel your appointments within less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged 50% of the total cost of the treatment(s) reserved under your credit card. Authorized credit card and current information are required to secure bookings of $100.00 or more. 

Pregnancy Safety Policy
Please note, no body treatments (massage or hydrotherapy) can be received during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Manicures and pedicures are available, but please inform your therapist ahead of time. Be sure to inform your therapist if you are using Retin A, accutane, or have had laser surgery

Swedish massage

Deep Tissue massage
 targets particular problem areas of the body to release
 muscle discomfort by going much deeper into the tissue (more sessions may be
 needed according to severity).

Stone Massage
A stone massage uses heated stones to massage the body. The hardness of the stones allows the therapist to address specific problem areas with more detailed work or deeper pressure. Basalt stones of various sizes, shapes and weights are used throughout and heated in water.

Reflexology
Reflexology involves the application of gentle pressure to reflex points on your feet. Those points are connected to internal organs, glands, and structures of your body. Pressure on those points can create a balance of the body. The body's natural ability to heal itself is stimulated and health is restored.

Reiki
The Usui System of Natural Healing.
Reiki is a natural healing technique that involves the use of hands to channel energy in a particular pattern. It is completely gentle, and stimulates the body's own innate ability to cure at the root of the problem, while also promoting holistic balancing of the body, mind, & spirit. During treatment you may feel warm, or tingly. You also will feel a deep relaxation, relief from stress (mental or emotional), a feeling of detachment from cares, a feeling of nurturing and general well being.

 Ear Candling
This is an ancient practice that has been around for centuries.  It originated in ancient civilizations such as china, India, and Egypt.  An ear candle also called an ear cone is a long hollow tube tapered to fit comfortably into the ear.  The large end of the candle is lit and the smoke created spirals down through the ear canal.  The smoke gently dislodges foreign debris, softens old ear wax and helps to evaporate moisture.  This process helps with earache pain and sinus pressure.  More subtle changes may occur on an energy level resulting in an overall sense of well-being .....$40.00


Mariposa pedicure
Indulge in this 1 1/2 hour sensational experience! Celebrate by soaking your tired feet in scented warm water. Cuticles and nails are shaped and filed. Followed by a scented ex foliating experience. Mariposa manicure
Soak your tired hands in seasonally scented warm water. Nails and cuticles are shaped and filed. Belle facial
This facial will take you to a state of absolute tranquility. We begin by deep cleansing the skin. Next we ex foliate the face and neck, followed by a massage of the shoulders, décolleté, arms and hands. A customized mask just for your skin is applied.
